I’m back again, talking about trends. This time, I’m going to list my top 10 favorite trends that I hope will never go away.
1. Ugg Boots

I don’t care what anyone says, I think they’re comfy, cute, and they keep you warm as well. They’re definitely a must have and will be a classic as years pass.
2. Skinny Jeans

A fave of mine ever since they came out…I could just live in these. I just love the fit and I love the look of tucking them into your books. What can I say, I’m hooked!
3. Boot-Cut Jeans

Okay, so I was tired of these after a while…(Since skinny jeans came into play.) But now I’m craving them once again and the new cut is even better. It has more of a flare, but not so much that it looks like bell bottoms. It kind of reminds me of the men’s version of the boot cut jean, but are much more flattering for a woman’s body.
4. Tunics

I adore these so much. Not only are they pretty, but they hide every flaw that we have. (Even if it’s only in our heads.) And the lengths they come in are amazing! Goodbye midriff tops, you were never my friend!
5. Boots (In general.)

I know I just talked about Ugg boots, but I’m talking about knee-boots, ankle boots, even midcalf boots. I don’t care what they are called…Slouch, side-zip, lace-up. As long as they’re cute (and not too wild), I want them! If we didn’t have summer at all, I’d live in boots. They’re just so cute, versatile, and fun to wear. I look forward every fall to seeing what the latest boot styles are going to be.
6. Ballet Flats

I can not tell you how many pairs of ballet flats I have…They’re as easy to slip on as a sandal, but way more comfortable. They’re also more ladylike to wear than a pump. These are my summer shoes!
7. High-Waisted Pants

These were a God-send to woman everywhere…Not only are they chic, but they hide our flaws as well. Thank you!
8. Bangle Bracelets

I got to tell you, I’m a total bracelet fanatic. If my job allowed them, I’d be wearing them everyday! My favorite kind of bracelet is the bangle bracelet, a la skinny version. They’re just really fun to wear and they look pretty on the arm. And of course, I love the sound they make when you move your arm.
9. Cardigan Wrap Sweaters

Layering is important to me. Not only for function, but for fashion as well. I just love to layer pieces and think it looks a lot sexier than wearing next to nothing. My favorite layering piece is the cozy cardigan wrap sweater. Not only is it comfy, but it’s stylish as well. You can pair with anyone from a pencil skirt and tank to jeans and a tee shirt.
10. “Menswear in Womenswear”

This is the answer to the powersuit in the 1980s. (Minus the crazy shoulder pads.) Today’s suits for women are chic and classy pieces that are reminiscent of menswear. With styles such as fitted vests, herringbone and tweed textures, even pinstripes, you will definitely look powerful in the office.
