Style Icon: Buddy Holly

Not only did Buddy Holly have a fresh sound, but he had a fresh style as well. He wasn’t a Beatle or a Beach Boy. He was in a league all of his own and the ladies love him. Now coined as “Geek Chic”, the style is coming back again. Argyle sweaters, suits, skinny ties, and the thick framed glasses all are the rage. Even Rivers Cuomo of Weezer has channeled Buddy Holly with his style and music videos. Let’s face it, girls go crazy for a guy with brains.
