Why I would Make a Good IMShopping Assistant

I signed up with the site IMShopping last month as a community member since I heard that they would be hiring shopping assistants. I thought that this position would be something that I’d be very interested in, even though I wasn’t familiar with the site. Well, I’ve been voted for a few ”best” paid (and free) answers, I have been getting a lot of points, and I feel really comfortable with the site. I find it to be a lot of fun to answer people’s questions, even when the questions are out of my element. (i.e. Thanksgiving centerpieces) I even have asked a few questions since and have gotten some great responses.

So this is one of the reasons why I’d like to become a shopping assistant. I don’t know if this is the best way to get one of their few positions, but I feel that I would be one of the best on their site. I love to shop, and thanks to my mom, I love finding a bargain. I love to help people. Always have ever since I’ve worked retail for the first time. I have tons of retail experience. (Just take a look at my résumé.) I already answered 31 questions.  Everyone knows that I already give you fashion advice and how-to information for finding good deals. I’m not only a “fashion guru”, but I’m a guru when it comes to finding beauty products, electronics, home goods, and children’s toys. I’ve been loyal to the site, and would find time to look at people’s questions and answer them. Even if it’s after a hard day of work. I’m even trying to learn the Book Marklet right now!

I don’t know what else it takes to become a Shopping Assistant, besides answering 25 questions, but all I know is that they’re inviting only a few people later this week and I hope to be asked. I think that with more time and experience, I’d be one of the best “experts” that they have on their site. Maybe they would have to make a category for shopping experts, if they don’t have that already.
