How to Get the Ultimate Blow Out

Thanks to actresses like Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson, everybody wants straight hair. Unfortunately, not everyone can easily achieve it. It can take forever to do. Also, your hair may frizz, especially when it rains outside. The following tips help give you the straightest hair possible, without burning or stinging chemicals.

Find the right shampoo for your hair type. For example, curly hair needs a smoothening shampoo. Fine hair, on the other hand, will need a voluminous shampoo. This helps you achieve the right style.

Use a smoothening cream or serum before, during, or after your blow out. Start applying the cream at the tips of your hair, and work your way up. The cream or serum helps combat stray and dry ends, while getting rid of frizz.

Wait a few hours for your hair to be partially dry or damp. Your hair will have fewer frizzes. Plus, your hair won’t become thick when it’s dry. It’s best to do this at night, when you don’t have anywhere important to go.

Separate your hair into four to six sections. Go over each section with a round brush, while pointing your nozzle down. Gently pull from the roots and brush downwards. You shouldn’t blow dry each section more than twice. Any more than that causes frizzes and dry, dead ends.

For pin-straight hair, use a flat iron. Just make sure to use a thermal spray to protect against damage. When you’re finished styling, hold your look with a finishing spray.

Before going to bed, you should hold your hair back with a headband, jaw clip, or hair clips. Sleeping on your hair while it’s down causes your hair to tangle. Pinning it back eliminates the tangles.
