About the Blogger

My name is Chanél. I currently live in small town, Massachusetts. I’m currently a freelance fashion journalist and columnist for Examiner.com. I’ve been a fashion blogger since November 2008. I’ve flown under the radar unlike other bloggers.

I graduated with an A.S. in healthcare administration, but fashion was always my passion. Fashion is a form of expression. I like to teach my readers how they can express themselves through fashion. I’ve built up a small army of “little gurus” over the years.

My work has been published on online magazines, websites, newspapers, and blogs. I’ve been writing professionally for the past six years. I’ve written several short stories, two novels (one finished; one in limbo), two editorial pieces, and thousands of articles.

On my spare time, I like to make collages, listen to music, talk to friends, spend time with family, read books, and stay active. My goal is to self-publish my memoir followed by a series of fashion books.
